The synthesis of 3-methoxy-benzanthrones was achieved in two steps by Suzuki–Miyaura coupling and BBr3-promoted Friedel–Crafts acylation under mild conditions with an overall yield of 17–74% and tolerance toward various substrates using commercially available reagents.
Four high-efficiency ultraviolet/deep-blue narrow TADF emitters based on carbazole or carboline donor derivatives and their applications in ultraviolet/deep-blue OLEDs are demonstrated.
DOBNA's LUMO extension and the introduction of a protecting group in the weak position of the donor group result in high efficiency and long lifetime of the device.
Liquid metal-derived photothermal and electrothermal pastes enable a dual-mode active system for efficient de- and anti-icing.
We synthesized three materials, namely, TDBA-Ge, mTDBA-Ge, and mTDBA-2Ge, as blue host emitters. Among the three materials, mTDBA-2Ge exhibited the highest efficiency, with an EQEmax of 24.41%.
