Light manipulation in a dually ordered porous TiO2–rGO composite for efficient solar energy utilization

Abstract

High-efficiency solar energy utilizing techniques such as photovoltaic systems and photocatalysis have attracted significant interest for use as the most attractive strategies for solving energy and environment problems. However, it is still a great challenge to realize satisfactory solar energy utilizing efficiency to develop ideal electrodes or catalysts with broad-spectrum light harvesting, large accessible surface areas, and superior electrical properties. This article highlights a recent report by Wang's group, who successfully synthesized a dually ordered porous TiO2–rGO composite for efficient solar energy utilization.
