We report a simple approach to create ammonium metavanadate–biopolymer composite hydrogel beads with promising antimicrobial, dye adsorption and sensing of ascorbic acid properties.
In this study, a new composite from silica coated MnFe2O4 nanoparticles, diethylenetriamine, 3-chloropropyl trimethoxysilane and Mg–Al Layered Double Hydroxide (Mg–Al LDH/DETA/CPTMS/SCNPs) composite was synthesized.
Chitosan-tailored γ-AlOOH aerogels effectively remove dyes and heavy metals from water. With high recyclability and adsorption capacity, they offer an efficient, sustainable solution for industrial wastewater treatment.
The speciation of sulphur and hydrogen molecules produced by thermophilic dark fermentation has been elucidated through surface studies of solid–gas systems utilising real biogas (biohydrogen) streams.
For the removal of highly toxic and non-degradable Sb(III/V), one novelty hybrid functional Zr–Fe metallic oxide (HF-ZFOs) composite was successfully prepared, which exhibited high adsorption performance for the removal of Sb(III/V) from water.
