In recent times, triazine-based Covalent Organic Polymers (COPs) have emerged as a central subclass of highly porous, N-rich organic materials, which are reported as highly efficient materials in a wide range of applications. Triazine-based COPs are formed using triazine or nitrile comprising organic precursors, which are connected through strong covalent linkages. Besides, the search for active, selective, and stable catalytic systems for numerous transformations is a pioneering field of interest for researchers worldwide. In the light of growing demand, it is highly desirable to present a well-organized and systematic inclusive review summing up triazine-based COP-derived catalyst systems in photocatalytic, organocatalytic, and MNP immobilized catalysis. Herein, we have summarised the current significant advances made in triazine-based COP synthetic strategies and their contemporary catalytic advancements. Synthetic methodologies are discussed in a simplistic way to create a better understanding for future researchers to modify these methods.
