Abstract

The condensation of the furan rings in two trans-[PdCl2{(C4H3O)SeMe}2] complexes with acetone and the chlorine–selenium interactions in the coordination spheres of the two palladium atoms result in the formation of a dinuclear complex [Pd2Cl2(µ-SeMe)2{MeSe(C4H2O)}2- CMe2].
