Selective catalytic reduction of NO by cerium-based metal–organic frameworks

Abstract

Cerium oxide clusters have been incorporated in a porous metal–organic framework to increase their activity for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3. In addition, a new set of bimetallic MOFs, Cex/Zr-CAU-24, was synthesized to further enhance the acid properties and thus increase the SCR activity of the cerium sites.
