SI-PPC-induced modulation of heparin/heparanase binding affinity: a steered molecular dynamics approach

We report a steered molecular dynamics (SMD) investigation into how substitution-inert polynuclear platinum complexes (SI-PPCs) influence the binding affinity between heparan sulphate (HS) and the enzyme heparanase.

About this collection

This special collection of Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers entitled “XXI BMIC/X BMRE/ III WTBC” is dedicated to commemorating the 2024 Brazilian Meeting on Inorganic Chemistry (BMIC), which was held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 12th-15th September 2024.

The collection aims to facilitate discussions on the latest developments in thematic areas such as biological inorganic chemistry, organometallics, rare-earths, supramolecular chemistry, photochemistry, inorganic electrochemistry, materials chemistry, and catalysis.

Guest Editors: Luiz Antônio S. Costa (Federal University of Juiz de Fora),  Fernando Sigoli (State University of Campinas), Heveline Silva (Federal University of Minas Gerais) and Maria Helena Araujo (Federal University of Minas Gerais)

More articles will be added into the collection as soon as published.
