About this collection

This collection of papers honours Professor Eddie (Ed) Abel, past President of the Royal Society of Chemistry. The collection comes primarily from J. Chem. Soc., Dalton Trans. (and latterly Dalton Trans.) plus a couple of important Chemical Communication papers, and have been chosen by former colleagues of Ed with a personal connection to the research or papers that have been inspired by his legacy.  They demonstrate the breadth of his scientific interests and are taken from various stages of his independent career.  Thank you Ed for your passion and inspiration for inorganic and organometallic chemistry!
