In-cell NMR Spectroscopy: From 2001 to Now
In-cell NMR describes the application of NMR spectroscopy to the investigation of biological macromolecules in their natural environment, the cell. The basis for these investigations is the sensitivity of the chemical shift towards interactions and conformational changes, and the non-invasive nature of NMR spectroscopy. This chapter provides a brief historic background to in-cell NMR and an overview of relevant techniques and applications.
