Structural Dimensionality Governing CO₂/C₂H₂ Separation in MWW Zeolites
Abstract
Herein, we uncover structural dimensionality as a key factor governing CO₂/C₂H₂ separation in MWW zeolites. Exfoliated MWW monolayers outperform 3D frameworks by extended breakthrough interval with higher selectivity. Combined experimental and DFT analyses reveal site-specific adsorption and reduced transport barriers, establishing dimensionality as a new design axis for molecular sieving.
