Spectroscopic Observation of Isotopic Fractionation in Expanding Laser Induced Plasma (LIP) Plume
Abstract
This study investigates isotopic fractionation in laser-induced plasma using calibration-free LAMIS. Fractionation proves to be a transient early-time phenomenon linked to plasma expansion. 10B enrichment observed at plume periphery, and later relax to bulk composition. Variations across different atmosphere and laser wavelength were also analysed, offering insights for optimizing laser-based isotopic measurements.
