Ir Doping Induced Phase Transformation and Morphological Reconstruction of MnO 2 for Efficient Alkaline Water Oxidation

Abstract

Ir doping induces a gradual phase transformation of MnO2  from β to α phase. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of the 2×2 tunnels of α-MnO2 and the highly active Ir sites, the resulting catalyst exhibits significantly enhanced alkaline oxygen evolution reaction activity.
