Orthogonally self-sorted hydrogels with pathway-dependent morphology guide bimetallic nanozyme formation

Abstract

We demonstrate the self-sorting of two judiciously selected supramolecular bioinspired building blocks into orthogonal hydrogel networks with pathway-dependent morphology. Spatially resolved coassembly of two components enabled the formation of bimetallic Ag/Au nanoparticles within the self-sorted hydrogel. We utilized these nanohybrid hydrogels as catalysts for peroxidase-mimicking activity and dye degradation.
