Regulating interfacial water via Ca-doped RuOx for enhanced acidic oxygen evolution reaction

Abstract

Ca-doped RuOx with abundant oxygen vacancies tailors the interfacial hydrogen-bond network to enrich free H2O on the catalyst surface, thereby accelerating *OOH formation and enabling a highly active and durable acidic oxygen evolution reaction.
