Au-catalyzed Monodisperse Colloidal Cu nanorods with Widely Tunable Surface Plasmon Resonances

Abstract

Cu nanorods were synthesized using Au decahedra as seeds, enabling broad tuning of their SPR peaks in the near-infrared region. These Cu nanorods exhibit plasmon-enhanced catalytic activity comparable to that of Au nanorods, providing a promising strategy for the development of low-cost plasmonic metal nanomaterials.
