Copper-catalyzed three-component thiocyanosulfonylation of allenes

Abstract

A three-component thiocyanosulfonylation of allenes via copper catalysis is described, affording a variety of SCN-containing vinyl sulfones with excellent chemo-, regio-, and stereoselectivity under mild conditions. This protocol exhibits wide functional group tolerance and good broad compatibility with various allenes and sulfonyl chlorides, and shows potential for applications in synthetic chemistry.
