Epitaxy-Induced PtOx-TiO2 Interfaces Boost the Reverse Water-Gas Shift Reaction

Abstract

The precise construction and tuning of metal-support interfaces remain a significant challenge in catalyst design. Here, we developed an epitaxial spreading structure Pt/PtOx/TiO2 catalyst using interface compatibility. Stable interfacial PtOx species and abundant oxygen vacancies form an efficient synergistic activation center, enhancing the RWGS reaction.
