Dual-Pathway Sensing in Ti-MOFs for Selective VOCs Discrimination by SERS

Abstract

A Ti-MOF-based SERS sensing platform that achieves highly sensitive (<100 ppm) and selective detection of VOCs, particularly in mixed-gas environments is introduced. By elucidating two distinct analyte-specific sensing mechanisms—confinement effects versus π-interactions—it provides key insights for the rational design of SERS-based MOF sensors toward practical applications.
