For the first time, diketones (BD and AcAc) were developed as effective photochemical vapor generation (PVG) media for trace analysis of Te and Bi. The method demonstrated excellent recovery in real samples, and the underlying radical-driven mechanism was elucidated by EPR and TEM analysis.
