Performance enhancement in SOECs with a novel waveform flow channel

Abstract

Two-dimensional coupled waveform channels enhance gas mixing and mass transfer inside SOECs, reducing electrolysis voltage by 6.57% at 1 A cm−2. Improved convective transport increases hydrogen production and lowers the temperature uniformity index by 48.15%, demonstrating effective performance and thermal management enhancement.
