Cyclotriveratrylene-engineered 2D conductive Metal-Organic Framework for sensitive electrochemical detection of hydrogen peroxide

Abstract

Exploiting the excellent solubility of bowl-shaped hexahydroxycyclotribenzylene (HCB) enabled rapid assembly of a layered HCB-Cu framework. This system synergistically utilizes its electron-rich cavity for host-guest recognition and its conjugated network for H₂O₂ sensing, achieving a low practical detection limit of 10 μM with robust stability.
