A mitochondria-anchored dual-lock probe for sequential detection of HOCl and viscosity during oxidative stress and ferroptosis
Abstract
We have developed a mitochondria-targeted and anchored dual-lock probe DHX-HOCl-V that is sequentially activated by HOCl and viscosity. This near-infrared probe exhibits excellent selectivity and low toxicity, and has been successfully applied for real-time imaging of mitochondrial HOCl and viscosity fluctuations during oxidative stress induced by drug stimulation or ferroptosis.
