Abstract

This work validated a two-step formation mechanism of CsPbBr₃ perovskite nanocrystals in glass, consisting of a phase separation and subsequent phase transition towards nanocrystal formation. Further adjustment of the kinetics of the two processes was achieved by the incorporation of Zn²⁺ and S²⁻, leading to improved optical performance.
