Dual-Parameter Self-Calibrating Probes for Organelle Polarity by Decoupling Viscosity from Polarity
Abstract
To overcome the limitations of intensity or wavelength based polarity sensing in cells, we developed a novel fluorophore utilizing steric hindrance to resist viscosity interference while maintaining high polarity sensitivity and PLQY. By combing intensity and wavelength of the probes, we achieved precise polarity analysis of specific organelles while eliminating interference of viscosity.
