Dual Photoredox and Palladium Catalysis Enabled Cyclization Reactions

Abstract

Over the past decades, light-promoted organic reactions have established themselves as powerful tools in synthetic chemistry. Notably, the integration of photocatalysis with palladium catalysis has demonstrated significant potential in enabling diverse cyclization reactions. This review provides a concise summary of recent advances in this rapidly evolving field, with a specific focus on three critical aspects: mechanistic insights, expansion of substrate scope, and optimization of catalytic systems.
