Imidazole-containing benzene ring luminescent materials are used for high-sensitivity Fe3+ detection and acid-base stimulation anti-counterfeiting encryption applications.

Abstract

Design and synthesis of blue organic luminescent materials containing imidazole benzene ring to stimulate the corresponding properties. With the synthesis of triphenylamine and phenanthrenequinone as the main body, the benzene ring and 1-phenyl imidazole substituents and substitution positions of N-1 were changed, respectively. The compound has dark blue luminescence. Imidazole can be protonated under acid-base stimulation to realize the conversion of the fluorescent ON-OFF-ON switch and the change of fluorescent colour, which is a reversible and controllable fluorescent switch. The designed 4MZ-PT has good deep blue luminescence and high stability, and the Hybridized local and charge-transfer (HLCT) transition intensity is moderate. The recognition effect of Fe3+ in high concentration and medium concentration is good, and the quenching of fluorescence change with THF solution as solvent is 42 times.
