A Cd-based complex as multifunctional fluorescent probe for the detection of Fe3+, ceftriaxone sodium (CRO) and L-aspartic acid (L-Asp)

Abstract

The development of a rapid and stable luminescence detection method is of great significance to human health and the protection of the ecological environment. In this work, a new luminescent complex [Cd2(Hbsal)4(dpa)2]n (1) (5-Bromosalicylic acid = H2bsal, 4,4'-Dipyridylamine = dpa) was successfully synthesized. Complex 1 has good thermal stability and chemical stability, which can serve as a sensitive and recyclable fluorescent probe for the detection of Fe3+, ceftriaxone sodium (CRO), and L-aspartic acid (L-Asp) with low limits of detection (LOD) of 1.08, 0.64 and 6.25 μM. This work presents a sensitive and recyclable fluorescent probe determination of Fe3+, CRO and L-Asp.
