Biomimetic synthesis of a benzobisthiazole-based conjugated polymer for pH-responsive drug delivery and synergistic tumor therapy

Abstract

A benzodithiophene-based conjugated polymer (termed as DPDMP) with high water-dispersibility, biocompatibility, and superior photothermal conversion efficiency was synthesized using a biomimetic click reaction. DPDMP can establish pH-responsive boronate ester bonds with bortezomib, enabling an integrated approach to tumor photothermal and chemotherapy.
