Electronic modification of ReS2 and NiS2 heterogeneous nanosheets array for high-efficiency electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution

Abstract

In consideration of simultaneous thermodynamic and kinetics via compositional and morphological engineering represents a powerful approach to establish high-performance electrocatalysts. Herein, we construct a heterogeneous composition of ReS2 and NiS2 nanosheets array aligned on carbon cloth substrate, which demonstrates excellent performance for hydrogen evolution in 1.0 M KOH solution.
