Recent progress in the application of iodonium ylides in organic synthesis

Abstract

Iodonium ylides have attracted considerable attention due to their unique properties and numerous applications as versatile and sustainable reagents in organic synthesis. Therefore, great progress has been made in the synthetic application. In this review, we present the most important breakthrough of iodonium ylides in organic reactions such as cyclization, C–H transformation, difunctionalization of alkenes and radiofluorination in recent five years. The relative mechanisms are also mentioned.
