b-Axis engineering of zeolite enables activity–stability synergy in propane dehydroaromatization
Abstract
We engineered the b-axis thickness to obtain a Zn-functionalized ZSM-5 catalyst that exhibited significantly superior performance in the propane dehydroaromatization (PDA) reaction—achieving 1.99 times higher propane conversion (48.0%) and 1.41 times higher BTX selectivity (55.3%) than the commercial aggregates. This finding demonstrates that b-axis engineering is an effective strategy for high-performance zeolite catalyst design.
