Versatile 1D-structured Co3O4–Co/NC@N–carbon nanotubes for high-performance lithium storage

Abstract

Versatile 1D-structured Co3O4–Co/NC@N–carbon nanotubes (NCNTs) are proposed as anode materials for high-performance lithium storage. The 1D-structured composite material demonstrates versatile features, including uniform and abundant active sites, small volume expansion and rapid reaction and rate performance. The rational design of the versatile 1D structure and the effective coordination between the components give the anode material excellent electrochemical performance.
