Pillar[5]arene-based crosslinked covalent network for efficient heavy metal ion adsorption

Abstract

A crosslinked covalent network was synthesized via aldimine condensation using a novel pillar[5]arene-derived decaamine. This network can be processed into aerogels and serves as an effective adsorbent for heavy metal ions.
