Hierarchical NC/Ni–CoP nanoarrays supported on nickel foam: synergistic electronic modulation and surface reconstruction for high-efficiency ethanol oxidation

Abstract

A hierarchical NC/Ni–CoP/NF electrocatalyst was synthesized, demonstrating exceptional activity and high selectivity for the ethanol oxidation reaction. The catalyst's superior performance stems from the synergistic Ni–Co effects and a conductive NC framework that facilitates rapid reconstruction into active Ni(Co)OOH species.
