Photonic crystal/DNA hydrogels for Hg(ii) and pH semi-quantitative visual detection in seawater

Abstract

A DNA-functionalized photonic hydrogel was developed for dual-parameter seawater analysis of Hg2+ and pH, enabling rapid in situ monitoring through smartphone-detectable RGB colour changes.
