Abstract

A 2D heterometallic mixed valence coordination network, [Cu2Ni(dien)(μ-CN)5]n (1), built up from fused [Ni(CN)4]2− and [Cu(CN)3]2− cyanidometallate anions and [Cu(dien)]2+ entities is reported.
