One-step synthesis of porous ionic liquids via proton transfer for natural gas purification
Abstract
The proton transfer strategy was applied to prepare porous liquids (PLs) through one-step mixture at room temperature. Benefiting from the dual effects of the cavities of UiO-66-OH and the reversible addition between carbonyl sites and H₂S, the selective capture of H₂S over CO₂ and CH₄ is achieved. Additionally, these PLs can catalyze the reaction of H₂S with α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid esters to generate thiols and thioethers.
