Reactions of the pentaphospholide anion with half-sandwich complexes of iron: a new route to pentaphosphaferrocenes

Abstract

Pentaphosphaferrocenes were prepared in good yields by the reaction of the pentaphospholide anion P 5 with half-sandwich com-plexes of iron containing carbonyl groups or tertiary phosphine ligands.
