Synthesis and characterization of a novel microporous aluminophosphate AlPO4-JDF (2AlPO4·HOCH2CH2NH2) from alcohol systems

Abstract

The synthesis of a novel aluminophosphate microporous compound A1PO4-JDF (where J means Jilin University and DF is Davy Faraday Laboratory) containing organic amine in the presence of the template HOCH2CH2NH2 from predominantly non-aqueous media is described. Chemical and elemental analyses disclosed its idealized formula as 2A1PO4·HOCH2CH2NH2. A1PO4-JDF has been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and thermogravimetry (TG), and magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR) spectroscopy.
