Methanol from oxidation of methane by nitrous oxide over FeZSM5 catalysts

Abstract

Under optimum conditions, Cu2+-exchanged FeZSM5 catalyses the oxidation of methane by nitrous oxide with high selectivity for methanol production. H+-Exchanged FeZSM yields mainly carbon oxides.
