Transient spectroscopy and kinetics of monomeric molybdenocene Mo(η-C5H5)2 in solution

Abstract

Flash photolysis of Mo(η-C5H5)2H2 in tetrahydrofuran solution results in formation of Mo(η-C5H5)2, identified by comparison of flash and matrix spectra; it decays in ca.10 µs by reaction with Mo(η-C5H5)2H2 or with CO.
