Synthesis and catalytic properties of carbonyldiphenylacetylenebis-cyclopentadienyltitanium

Abstract

Substitution of carbon monoxide by diphenyl-acetylene in dicarbonylbiscyclopentadienyltitanium(II) yields the title compound, which is an excellent catalyst for the hydrogenation of acetylenes dienes, and olefins.
