Photoisomerization of 2-thiazolines to N-alkenylthioamides

Abstract

2-Thiazolines isomerize photochemically to N-alkenylthioamides; it is suggested that 2,5,5-tri-methylthiazoline leads to the intermediary formation of an N-thioacetylaziridine (IX).
