Reactions of some stilbene ozonides with dimethyl sulphoxide and dimethylformamide

Abstract

Some stilbene ozonides react with dimethyl sulphoxide, dimethylformamide, and primary, secondary, and tertiary amines to give a single aldehyde and a single acid in quantitative yield.
