6-Aminocholest-4,6-dien-3-one and 2-amino-5α-cholest-1-en-3-one are formed from 6α-azidocholest-4-en-3-one and 2β-azido-5α-cholestan-3-one respectively. Spectroscopic data are reported for these enamines.
