Abstract

Stereochemistry is assigned to the 2-α-hydroxy-2,4,6-trimethoxycoumaran-3-one obtained by alkaline hydrogen peroxide oxidation of 2′-hydroxy-α,4′,6′-trimethoxychalcone.
