Preparation of triphenylarsine- and triphenylstibine-dichlorides

Abstract

The dichlorides of triphenylarsine and triphenylstibine can be prepared in high yield, by the reaction in toluene solution at 0°, between triphenylarsine or triphenylstibine and sulphuryl chloride.
