Two isomeric 5,7,7,12,12,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetra-azacyclotetradecanenickel(II) complexes were prepared by reduction of the equivalent 4,11-dienenickel(II) complex, and the amines liberated by reaction of the nickel complexes with cyanice. The preparations of the amine dihydrates, tetra-hydrochlorides and di-hydroperchlorates are reported.
