Abstract

This is a Reply to the Comment made by Prof. Xavier Creary on our manuscript entitled “Dithiocarbamate-mediated thioamidation of arylglyoxylic acids by decarboxylative–decarbonylative C–C bond formation reactions”. The reaction reported by our group has been verified repeatedly and each time the reaction offers satisfactory yield of the desired product.
