The active sites for peroxydisulfate activation by N-doped carbon with zinc impurities

Abstract

The active center of N-doped porous carbon with zinc remnant for peroxydisulfate activation was investigated. The results showed that the zinc contaminant hardly active to drive the reaction. As a comparison, graphitic N was proposed to be the critical active site and the graphitic structures remarkably boosted the activity
